Job summary
BORGWARNER SINGAPORE HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Diploma in Electrical Engineering holder to troubleshoot and repair production equipment, upgrade hardware and control software, and drive quality improvements.
The role requires at least 3 years of similar manufacturing experience, teamwork, and ability to perform shift work in a fast-paced environment on site in Singapore.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of similar experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Able to work in a team.
- Able to perform shift work.
Responsibilities
- Trouble shoot and repair or faulty production equipment
- Improve and upgrading of Production equipment hardware and control (software)
- Identify and rectify process problem for quality improvement / scrap reduction
- Updated and control of equipment spare parts
- Installation and qualification of new processes and equipment
- Support new program / model start-up
- Support Production Overtime in weekday , weekend , Sunday and Public Holiday
- Minimizing machine downtime , scrap raw materials / products
- Maintaining correct spare parts inventory and product quality
- Communicating with production operators / supervisor and other support group
