Job summary

BorgWarner Singapore Holdings Pte. Ltd. is looking for a hands-on Diploma holder to support production operations, perform maintenance, and assist Test Engineers in upgrading equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma holders in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Support production operations by working rotating shifts and overtime as required.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty production equipment quickly to minimize factory downtime.
• Communicate effectively with production operators, supervisors, and cross-functional support groups.
• Maintain and control the inventory of equipment spare parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment calibrations accurately and on schedule.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers to provide backup support for manufacturing equipment maintenance and test processes.
• Help track data to meet departmental cost efficiency and quality control objectives.
• Assist Test Engineers in upgrading production hardware and software control systems.
• Aid in the installation and qualification of new test processes and machinery.
• Work alongside engineers to identify process problems and implement scrap reduction solutions.
• Provide operational support during new program/model start-ups and Change Request (CR) processes.
