Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Process Engineer in wafer fabrication to analyze SPC charts, Cp/Cpk, and ensure quality through proper annotation.

You will work with JMP and Klarity ACE to study split lots, run DOE data, and support recipe content compliance in RMS. The role requires strong analytical skills, teamwork, and the ability to guide junior engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering/physical science field.
• At least 1 year experience in wafer fabrication and Thin Film CVD.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SPC charts, understand rules and Cp/Cpk indices.
• Use JMP and Klarity ACE to analyze split lot, DOE data, and sort yield.
• Upload recipes using RMS, verify, and ensure recipe content compliance.
• Follow up on 3L5W, MRB, 8D, TECN, or update specifications via ECN; guide juniors.
• Set up and troubleshoot issues in recipes/job files across metrology tools.
• Act as a process engineer for new equipment acceptance; understand R&R concepts.

• Analyze SPC charts. Understand the rules and their significance. Perform proper annotation to maintain quality troubleshooting rate for SPC OOC. Understand Cp and Cpk indices.
• Use JMP and Klarity ACE to analyze split lot, DOE data, and sort yield.
• Upload recipes using RMS, check recipes, and ensure recipe content compliance.
• Follow up on 3L5W, MRB, 8D, TECN, or update specifications through ECN. Provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Set up and troubleshoot issues in recipes/job files in all metrology tools within the module.
• Act as a process engineer for new equipment acceptance. Understand the concept of repeatability and reproducibility (R&R) run.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Microelectronics/Chemical Process/Chemistry/Physics
• With min 1 year experience in wafer fabrication and Thin Film CVD process.
• Excellent team player with good interpersonal, communication, and written skills
• Strong logical thinking capability and good analytical skills
• High level of integrity, commitment, with good ownership and accountability
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
