Job summary

TÜV SÜD PSB Pte. Ltd. is hiring a skilled electrical tester for onsite work in Singapore.

You will perform tests on electrical products to international and Singapore safety standards and manage project deliveries from testing to reporting. The role requires a diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 5 years relevant experience, or a degree with 1–2 years. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with knowledge of IEC/BS safety standards and the ability to read electrical diagrams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 5 years' relevant experience, or a degree with 1–2 years' experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Candidates with knowledge of safety standards (IEC, BS, SS) an added advantage.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform test and evaluation on electrical products to various International and Singapore safety standards
• Manage execution and timely completion of projects’ deliveries (test & inspection reports)
• Review and exercise engineering judgement on test standards and develop test procedures / protocols for laboratory testing
• Partner with customers, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure smooth and timely execution of projects
• Work with business and sales teams to develop and commercialize new testing services, build technical capabilities, and provide technical support for sales enquiries
• Communicate with customers on technical issues, project status and clarify requirements
• Maintain and upkeep test facilities and equipment
• Undertaking process improvement projects on testing facilities and services

Key Responsibilities

• Candidates with relevant knowledge in safety standards (IEC, BS, SS etc.)will be an added advantage
• Candidate with relevant experience in reading and understanding electrical diagrams and electronic schematics
