Job summary

YTL PowerSeraya Pte. Limited in Singapore seeks an experienced engineering professional to lead maintenance and reliability activities for plant systems.

You will oversee safety, regulatory compliance and incident responses, and drive planned overhaul programs with a focus on availability and reliability. The role requires a degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, strong control & instrumentation knowledge, and the ability to coordinate a team of technical officers and technicians,

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering or equivalent recognised by the Professional Engineers Board.
• Knowledge of Control and Instrumentation.
• Sound knowledge of safety and statutory requirements.
• Driven self-starter with strong work ethics.
• Team player with strong analytical, technology and communication skills.
• Available on standby after office hours for emergency calls.
• Knowledge in cyber security will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance work is executed effectively, efficiently and complied with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Respond and attend to plant failures and forced outages to ensure timely and proper rectification and restoration.
• Plan and ensure safe and timely execution of plant overhaul activities.
• Recommend and implement modification, upgrading and installation plans for plant system and equipment for enhancement, availability and reliability improvement.
• Manage the procurement of parts and services to meet the maintenance needs of the section, including spare parts and external services for routine and breakdown maintenance.
• Lead and manage a team of technical officers and technicians.
• Development of staff.
