Job summary

YTL PowerSeraya Pte. Limited invites a Control and Instrumentation technician to maintain instrumentation and control systems at the power plant, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role covers repairs, calibration, outage work, and documentation, with collaboration to engineers and technicians, and responsibilities including emergency standby and CERT participation.

Qualifications

• Nitec/Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Instrumentation.
• Preferably possesses 2 years of experience in Power Plant or Oil and Gas industry.
• Self-driven, with a good working attitude and a good team player.
• Is available on standby after office hours for emergency calls.
• Have a safety mindset and display good workplace safety behavior.
• Be a part of the CERT team and be actively involved in emergency responses whenever called upon.

• Overhaul, inspection, calibration, servicing program during plant scheduled outage.
• Implement modification, upgrading, and installation plans for plant system and equipment for enhancement, availability, and reliability improvement.
• Maintain detailed work reports, spreadsheets, graphs, plots on computer-based software (Maximo, MS Word, and MS Excel)
• Assist Engineers and Technical Officers in the maintenance work
• Supervise contractors under his charge
