Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking engineers to prescribe workscopes for engine repair or overhaul in Singapore. You will liaise with customers on engine condition and integrate their requirements into internal processes.

The role includes leading new process qualifications and coordinating with OEMs for latest technical updates. You will analyze engine data, design tooling, and perform risk assessments for new aviation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in engineering drawings.
• Understanding of aircraft propulsion is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe workscopes for engine repair or overhaul.
• Liaise with customers to discuss engine condition and technical issues.

• Lead first article qualification for new processes and equipment.

• Analyze engine testing data to improve First Pass Yield and reduce troubleshooting.

Documentation

Review publications from airworthiness authorities and OEM, and integrate into internal work processes.

Ensure currency of internal work instructions issued to shopfloor.

Operations Support

Provide technical support to shopfloor on issues relating to engine disassembly/assembly, inspection.

Troubleshoot faults or defects that arise during engine testing.

Review and streamline work processes for process improvement.

Compile and analyse engine build and performance data to provide recommendations to improve engine reliability and performance, while reducing cost of engine repair.

Compile and analyse engine testing data to provide recommendations to improve engine testing First Pass Yield and minimise engine troubleshooting in test cell.

Investigateengine incidents or defects, identify root cause(s), and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
