Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Probe Shift Equipment Engineer to lead a team of shift equipment technicians, ensuring schedules, production standards, and costs are met while driving improvements and training.

You will collaborate with management, engineering, production, and training personnel to achieve site objectives, establish clear communication, and foster a culture of continuous improvement including AI-enabled enhancements where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Must be open/willing to work a permanent 12-hour day/night shift as assigned by supervisor.
  • Leadership experience demonstrated through academic projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities with 8D, 5 Why, PFMEA to deliver effective solutions.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work in a clean room environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated PROBE internship experience within a semiconductor company is an added advantage.
  • Experience on projects aligned with the key duties of this position is an added advantage.
  • Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
  • Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively.

  • Ensure adequate training and compliance to SOP to eliminate safety and quality risk.
  • Analyze data and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Maintain close communication and collaboration with production and process stakeholders to achieve strategy business objectives.
  • Establish and review SOPs to ensure they continue to be relevant and optimized for operation process.
  • Evaluation, promotion and planning of new equipment / materials.
  • Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment.
  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.

Job Summary

As a Probe Shift Equipment Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will lead a team of shift equipment technicians to meet equipment schedules, production standards, and operational costs, ensuring department goals are achieved. Your responsibilities include setting clear expectations, providing continual performance feedback, and outlining improvement plans for your team. You will foster teamwork, trust, and employee engagement, recognize and reward outstanding performance, and ensure necessary training is conducted and supported to achieve site objectives. Additionally, you will establish clear and strong lines of communication and engagement with peers, customers, eventual reports, and management in a professional manner. You will oversee the day-to-day performance of a work unit that performs complex tasks and collaborate closely with management, engineering, production, and training personnel to meet company goals.
