Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore is hiring for an entry-level engineering support role in semiconductor process operations. You will provide oversight of manufacturing activities, aiming to meet daily targets such as cycle time and throughput, and support prototype and shipment planning.

You will assist automated assembly tools, help with capacity modeling, and drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and productivity while adhering to safety, environmental, health, and security programs.

Qualifications

• Requires a technical (University) degree.
• BS + 0-2 years of experience or MS + 0-2 years.
• Provides oversight of manufacturing, process and equipment to meet daily targets (cycle time, throughput, prototype success, shipment plan).
• Supports automated assembly tools and capacity modeling.

Provide engineering support for semiconductor process operations Typically performs one or more of the following as directed and/or independently:

• Provides oversite and guidance of operational activities in ensuring productive use of manufacturing, process and equipment to meet the daily targets and operational goals - Cycle time, Throughput, Prototype success and Fabout - Shipment Plan
• Supports automated assembly tools to support manufacturing processes
• Supports engineering and industrial engineering for accurate and up-to-date assumptions, constraints and UPH are used in the tools capacity modeling
• Drives manufacturing efficiencies, quality and productivity improvements
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
• Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed.
