Job summary

Ryobi Geotechnique International Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a full-time Geotechnical Engineer to support site investigations, analyses, and foundation design across multiple projects. You will prepare borehole logs, factual and interpretive reports, and collaborate with project teams to meet timelines.

Fresh graduates are welcome; you will work with senior engineers, apply soil mechanics concepts, and use Plaxis/GeoStudio tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or closely related discipline
• Fresh graduates welcome; candidates with geotechnical/civil engineering experience have an added advantage
• Strong technical skills in geotechnical analysis, design, and project delivery
• Proficient in geotechnical software and modelling tools (e.g. Plaxis, GeoStudio)
• Solid understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and site investigation methods
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct geotechnical site investigations, including soil sampling, in-situ testing, and groundwater monitoring
• Perform geotechnical analyses and calculations for foundation design, slope stability, earth retaining structures, and ground improvement works
• Prepare borehole logs, factual and interpretive geotechnical reports, and project documentation for submission
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports to document project deliverables
• Collaborate with project teams, site supervisors, and clients to ensure project requirements and timelines are met
• Monitor project progress on site and identify opportunities for design optimisation and improvement
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant codes of practice, standards, and regulations

About the Role

Join the team at Ryobi Geotechnique International Pte Ltd as a full-time Engineer (Geotechnical). In this role, you will provide geotechnical engineering expertise and support across a range of site investigation, ground improvement, and foundation engineering projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
