Job summary

WideWings Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a capable Geotechnical Site Supervisor to oversee deep excavation, piling and diaphragm wall works on major infrastructure projects.

You will review method statements, monitor I&M systems, and ensure compliance with WSH and local authorities. The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on supervision experience in geotechnical engineering and foundation works. You will coordinate with QP, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and support project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification recognized in Singapore.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant site supervision experience in geotechnical engineering, deep excavation, foundation, or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in supervision of Deep excavation, basement construction.

Responsibilities

• Monitor deep excavation, Earth Retaining and Stabilizing Structures (ERSS), piling, diaphragm walls, ground improvement, and foundation works.
• Ensure geotechnical works are carried out in accordance with approved method statements and construction sequences.
• Review geotechnical reports, shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Monitor instrumentation and monitoring (I&M) systems, review monitoring data, and ensure compliance with trigger and alarm levels.
• Conduct regular site inspections and witness geotechnical testing, including pile integrity tests, static and dynamic load tests, soil testing, and groundwater monitoring.
• Identify geotechnical risks, ground movements, settlement, and other potential issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the Qualified Person (QP), Geotechnical Engineer, contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities to resolve technical and site issues.
• Ensure compliance with BCA, LTA, PUB, and MOM Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements.
• Assist in project completion, testing, commissioning, defect rectification, and final handover of geotechnical works.
