Job Summary

As a CBRE Engineer (Fire Protection Systems), you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, compliance, and operational readiness of all fire protection systems across the port facility. The role oversees the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements, company standards, and industry best practices. The Engineer works closely with operations, maintenance contractors, project teams, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to maintain a safe working environment and minimize operational risks.

What You'll Do

Fire Protection System Management

• Manage the lifecycle, performance, and reliability of all fire protection systems within the port facility.
• Ensure all fire protection assets remain fully operational and compliant with statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate asset registers, maintenance records, inspection reports, and engineering documentation.
• Develop long‑term asset management and replacement strategies.
• Conduct routine inspections of fire protection systems and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), Fire Code, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements, insurance standards, and company policies.
• Support regulatory inspections and third‑party audits.
• Track audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Maintain readiness for emergency inspections.

Maintenance Management

• Develop and maintain annual preventive maintenance schedules.

What You'll Need

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fire Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing fire protection systems in industrial, marine, petrochemical, logistics, airport, or port environments.
