Job summary

Keppel Ltd. is seeking a Data Centre Operations professional to maintain DC systems, monitor equipment and ensure safe work practices during daily maintenance and installations.

In this role you will respond to customer service requests, handle emergency calls during shifts, conduct daily DC walkthroughs, and manage incident reporting while ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environmental policies are followed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients
• Respond to customer service requests in a timely manner
• Respond to emergency calls during shift work
• Maintain Data Centre Systems
• Conduct daily walkthrough of DC to record and report faults or defects and record M&E equipment
• Conduct daily routine checklist to ensure no environmental abnormalities and all critical M&E systems are in good working condition
• Ensure DC is clean, safe work practices observed during installation/maintenance by SubContractors/vendors
• Assist Shift Lead during briefing and handover to incoming shift team on outstanding issues
• Incidents and field service reporting and filing
• Adherence to quality, health & safety, and environmental policies
• Travel overseas for work as needed
• Other duties as reasonably requested by supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION Your main duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with internal and external clients
• Respond to customer service requests in a timely manner
• Respond to emergency calls (during shift work)
• Maintain Data Centre Systems
• Conduct daily walkthrough of DC to record and report any faults or defects detected and take down record of M&E equipment
• Conduct daily routine checklist to ensure no environmental abnormalities and all critical M&E related systems are in good working condition
• Ensure that the DC is clean, free from debris and safe work practices are being carried out during installation work / routine maintenance / repair of equipment by SubContractors/vendors
• Assist Shift Lead during Briefing and handover to incoming shift team on all outstanding issues and Standing Instructions from the Operation Lead / Assistant Manager / Manager
• Incidents and field service reporting and filing
• Adherence to all quality, health & safety, and environmental policies
• Comply to site required policies, guidelines and practices
• Travel overseas for work / assignment as and when necessary or requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time
