Job summary

Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Engineer, Environment, Health & Safety to support the development and implementation of EHS policies and programs across the Benoi site. The role involves conducting inspections, risk assessments, and supporting investigations to prevent recurrence.

The ideal candidate will have an environmental or OHS degree, strong knowledge of EHS regulations, and capable communication skills to engage employees at all levels.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of EHS regulations and standards applicable in Singapore and internationally.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging employees across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of EHS activities, audits, and compliance documentation, supporting management reviews and certifications.
• Keep abreast of evolving laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to environment, health, and safety, advising the organisation accordingly.
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives that reduce environmental impact and enhance operational efficiency.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging employees across multiple levels.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in EHS management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to learn and adapt digitalisation and AI initiatives.

Other Information

• Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
