Job summary

SPH Print Centre in Singapore seeks an Electrical / Electronics Engineer to lead daily maintenance and drive equipment projects at our modern, air-conditioned printing facility. You will troubleshoot automation and robotics and supervise a maintenance team.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will plan preventive and corrective maintenance on web offset machinery and related systems, including AGV and CTP.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or its equivalent.
• Strong leadership, problem solving and hands-on maintenance skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment; and
• Able to work rotating shifts including night shifts, and on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Engineer (Electrical / Electronics) will plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on the state-of-the-art Web Offset Printing machinery and associated automation controls and auxiliary systems such as Auto Guided Vehicle and Computer-To-Plate System;
• Plan and execute existing and new production equipment projects;
• Lead a team to execute daily scheduled maintenance tasks and promptly rectify any identified faults.

SPH Print Centre is a state-of-the-art air conditioned newspaper printing plant located at Jurong Port Road. Company transport will be provided from Clementi and Chinese Garden MRT Stations.
