Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Resolve on-site technical and engineering challenges.
  • Prepare shop drawings and project management reports.
  • Plan and sequence structural work and resources.
  • Monitor progress of structural and M&E works.
  • Supervise site execution for compliance with SOPs.

Job Summary

As an Engineer (C&S), you will support project delivery by leading technical and site coordination activities to ensure construction works meet design, schedule, and quality standards across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Planning Manager or Project Manager in resolving on-site technical and engineering challenges to maintain project progress and compliance
  • Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials documentation, Method of Statement (MOS), monthly progress claims, and project management reports to support project tracking and approvals
  • Plan and sequence structural work and allocate resources, coordinating micro-schedules with other trades and disciplines to align with the Master program
  • Contribute inputs for procurement processes related to structural work subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing
  • Monitor progress of structural, architectural, and M&E works using scheduling tools to identify and address delays or issues proactively
  • Supervise site execution to enforce compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and contractual specifications
  • Conduct inspections and maintain detailed documentation to verify adherence to project requirements and quality benchmarks
  • Ensure compliance with Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) checklist requirements to facilitate project handover readiness
  • Promote and enforce environmental, health, and safety (EHS) practices consistently on site to maintain a safe working environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognized by PE Board/BCA
  • 4-5 years of experience in building engineering projects; candidates with greater experience may be considered for senior engineer roles
  • Experience with Precast, Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC), or Modular Engineering Technology (MET) projects
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and a positive work attitude
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Demonstrated analytical, supervision, and communication skills to manage complex project demands
  • Completion of Quality Management (QM) projects and registration as a Core-trade Foreman or Supervisor is an advantage
