Job summary

Housing & Development Board is seeking to strengthen its team responsible for the management of building safety in HDB buildings. The role focuses on planning and executing building performance appraisals, interpreting data to drive maintenance decisions and safety improvements.

Successful candidates will have a recognised Civil Engineering background and at least 3 years of design/construction experience, with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Recognised Civil Engineering background approved by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in design and/or construction.
• Ability to work independently, analyse problems, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage building performance appraisals, including data analysis and interpretation.
• Contribute to feasibility studies and analyses for structural engineering problems; manage post-construction, maintenance, and improvement works in HDB estates; provide technical solutions for engineering and maintenance feedback.

You will be part of a team involved in the planning and management of building performance appraisals, including data analysis and interpretation.

You will also be part of a project team involved in the feasibility studies and analyse for structural engineering problems, managing post-construction, building maintenance, and improvement works in HDB estates; as well as providing technical solutions for engineering & maintenance feedback.

[What we are looking for]

You should possess a recognised background in Civil Engineering by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in design and/or construction. You should have the ability to work independently, analyse problems effectively, develop practical and viable solutions, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract.
