Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a junior engineer assistant to support engineering tasks at semiconductor fabs, including on-site start-ups, maintenance, and documentation. You will work to ensure equipment uptime and contribute to quality management processes.

The role requires 1–2 years in semiconductor fabs, a Diploma/ITE, and proficiency in English and Chinese for client communication. Strong time management and customer service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of working experience in front-end semiconductor fab environments.
• Diploma or ITE.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in English and Chinese to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking clients.
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager on Engineering efforts in technical tasks & projects at semiconductor fabs in Singapore and occasional overseas.
• Provide on-site engineering equipment start-ups, mechanical parts installation, trouble-shooting and preventive maintenance support.
• Documentation of Engineering documents (Installation/service reports, SOPs).
• Facilitate CIP (continuous improvement projects) that add value to customers.
• Participate as key member in developing and ensuring compliance of Quality Management System.
• Work in a team to ensure good equipment uptime to support operation.

Job scope

• 1. Assist Project Manager on Engineering efforts in technical task & projects at Semiconductor fabs in Singapore and occasional overseas.
• 2. Provide on-site engineering equipment start-ups, mechanical parts installation, trouble-shooting and Preventive maintenance support.
• 3. Documentation of Engineering documents. Eg: Compiling Installation/service reports (Standard-Operation-Procedures) & Workshop housekeeping…etc.
• 4. Facilitates CIP(continuous improvement project) that add value to customers.
• 5. Participate as key member in developing and ensuring the Compliances of Quality Management System.
• 6.Work in a team to ensure good equipment uptime to support operation

Requirements

• 1. Prefer 1-2 years of working experience in front-end Semiconductors fab environments
• 2. Diploma or ITE
• 3. Proficient on Microsoft Office
• 4. Proficient in both English and Chinese to effectively communicate withChinese-speaking clients
