Job summary

XINGHAN BUILDER PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified Project Engineer in Singapore to plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects from initiation to completion.

You will liaise with clients on site to capture requirements and ensure project alignment with budgets, schedules, and quality standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety compliance, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor engineering projects from start to finish.
• Assign tasks to groups based on skills and track progress.
• Meet with clients on site to understand needs and represent interests.
• Review budgets, plans, and schedules and report status.

• Define equipment specifications for projects.

• Organizing, planning, coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering projects are primary project engineer job duties.
• Assigning responsibilities to employee groups based on their skills and monitoring their progress.
• Meeting with and interpreting clients' needs and requirements on the ground and representing their interests.
• Performing quality control measures on budgets, plans, and schedules, including reporting on the status of the project.
• Implementing the necessary corrective actions after reviewing the engineering tasks.
• Establishing the specifications for the equipment needed for the project.
• Developing a framework for collecting and evaluating data about the project.
• A process for establishing field tests as well as a way to monitor their quality.
• Ensure compliance with codes, policies, practices, specifications, performance standards, and other aspects of the project.
