Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a hands-on technician to install and service electrical equipment for our established client. The role covers installation, wiring, testing, and load preparation for engines and generators.

Working at Jurong West, you will join a team with regular hours, a Monday-to-Friday workweek, and potential for progression as welfare and benefits are strong.

Qualifications

• Possess ITE or relevant technical certification with minimum 2-3 years relevant hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic Staring System, Marine Gearbox, AC Power Alternator, alignment, control panel and testing will of advantage.

Responsibilities

• Select, use and maintain service tools correctly.
• Install electrical switches, sensors, transducers, transmitters, current transformers, alternator components, control panels, etc.
• Install engine wiring according to drawings provided.
• Disassemble and reassemble engine components (oil pump, water pump, cylinder head).
• Perform engine valve lash adjustment.
• Assist with mechanical works: radiator, couplings, engines, alternators, gearbox, piping, hoses.
• Assist with alignment for radiator, engine and alternator installation.
• Prepare generators for load test.
• Perform safety devices test and load test; record readings.
• Connect ET tool to engine to view diagnostic codes and data.
• Troubleshoot engines and generators when problems arise.
