Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Power Generation Commissioning Engineer to support installation, testing, start-up and commissioning of generator sets, pump sets and marine propulsion engines in Jurong West.

Company transport is provided and working days are Monday to Friday with hours from 8am to 5.10pm. The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 3-4 years of relevant experience in power generation or related industries, with hands-on commissioning

Qualifications

Diploma qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
3-4 years of relevant experience in power generation or related industries.
Hands-on experience in generator commissioning and start-up.
Familiarity with generator control systems and parallel operation.

Responsibilities

Conduct application, installation and site inspections for power generation equipment.
Perform start-up, testing and commissioning of generator sets, pump sets and marine propulsion engines.
Carry out generator synchronisation, paralleling and control system testing.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and control system issues during commissioning.
Prepare commissioning reports and technical documentation.
Support overseas commissioning projects when required.
