Job summary

A leading environmental solutions firm in Singapore is seeking inspection personnel. The role involves conducting scheduled inspections at construction sites and ensuring compliance with plans. Candidates should have a Higher NITEC or equivalent, be physically fit for outdoor work, and proficient in English and MS Office. Experience in construction or site inspections is beneficial. This position requires communication with project managers and capturing documentation through mobile devices.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in construction, site inspection, drainage, or utilities is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections at construction sites, including urgent requests.

  • Capture time-stamped photos/videos and upload them.
  • Liaise with project managers and site personnel on rectifications.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc inspections at construction sites, including urgent activations, weekends and public holidays (2-hour response time).

  • Check ECM, drainage and raw watermains protection against approved plans and checklists, and identify/document non-compliances, damage or unauthorized works.

  • Capture date/time-stamped photos and videos using mobile devices and upload reports, photos and checklists into the designated system within stipulated timelines.

  • Liaise with Project Managers, QPs, ECMOs and site personnel, follow up on rectification works, and prepare supporting documents for enforcement when required.

Requirements
  • At least Higher NITEC or equivalent technical qualification.

  • Physically fit for field work and able to work outdoors at multiple sites island wide.

  • Able to read and understand construction, drainage and watermains plans.

  • Proficient in spoken and written English and basic MS Office;
    Comfortable using smartphones/tablets and mobile apps for photo upload and e-reporting.

  • Prior construction / site inspection / drainage / utilities experience is an advantage.
