Job summary

InCommodities is seeking a Software Developer with a few years of experience to design and build software that powers our energy trading business. You will own the full lifecycle, write clean code in Rust and Python, and deploy on Kubernetes via secure CI/CD.

You will work directly with traders, quants, and analysts to create tools that improve decisions, performance, and reliability across our trading platforms. This role rewards ownership, fast learning, and thoughtful architectural choices.

Qualifications

• A few years of hands-on experience writing exceptionally clean, maintainable code.
• Proven track record owning implementations end to end.
• Ability to hold complex systems in your head while simplifying design and implementation.
• Fluency with modern AI agentic coding tools and the judgment to use them well.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable, reliable software for our trading business.
• Own the full lifecycle: from business need to production on Kubernetes via secure CI/CD.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and analysts to power decision making.
• Continuously improve performance, robustness, and maintainability.
