Job summary

InCommodities is hiring a Software Developer to design and build critical software for our energy trading platform in Singapore. Expect ownership of end-to-end delivery, writing clean code in Rust and Python, and deploying via Kubernetes with secure CI/CD.

You will work directly with traders, quants, and analysts, applying AI-assisted tooling where it accelerates delivery while preserving solid architecture. The role offers a fast-paced startup vibe with real impact.

Qualifications

• A few years of hands-on software development experience delivering production-grade code.
• Experience with Rust or Python; willingness to work with OCaml or similar functional languages.
• Ability to own end-to-end implementations and ship to production on Kubernetes with secure CI/CD.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to work with traders, quants, and analysts.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable software powering trading operations.
• Own full lifecycle from requirement to production deployment on Kubernetes via CI/CD.
• Apply AI-assisted coding judiciously while maintaining architectural ownership.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and analysts to translate needs into solutions.
• Continuously improve performance, robustness, and maintainability.
