Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance or Engineering.
• Experience with Python and analytical libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of SQL, data engineering concepts, Databricks and time-series analysis.
• Familiarity with optimisation techniques and quantitative modelling.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute approved and compliant market trades and nominations in Power and Gas Markets (Continuous market trading operation).
• Ensure physical delivery of power through coordination with generation dispatch and constraints.
• Optimise and extract value as a portfolio through collaboration with internal/external teams.
