Qualifications

• Degree in data science, CS, analytics, maths, statistics, quantitative finance, or engineering.
• Proficiency in Python with Pandas/NumPy/Scikit-learn.
• Strong SQL and data engineering knowledge; Databricks exposure.
• Familiarity with optimisation techniques and quantitative modelling.
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Execute approved and compliant market trades and nominations in power and gas markets.
• Coordinate with generation dispatch to ensure physical delivery of power.
• Optimise portfolio value through collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Deploy analytics to guide trading decisions and improve market models.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for market, fundamental, and alternative data.
• Provide updates on business performance and market conditions to management.
