Kerry Consulting is recruiting a Market Risk Advisor for an energy trading group in Singapore. You will own market risk oversight across physical and financial energy products, delivering clear portfolio views to traders and senior management.

The role emphasizes VaR, stress testing, P&L attribution, and governance, with a focus on enhancing data quality, reporting, and risk controls as the trading platform evolves.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in market risk, trading risk or quantitative risk.
• Strong knowledge of derivatives markets, including forwards, futures, swaps, options and hedging strategies.
• Hands-on experience with VaR, stress testing and P&L attribution; ability to communicate risk to traders and senior management.
• Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Python, SQL, Power BI and ETRM/CTRM platforms would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own market risk oversight across a portfolio of physical and financial energy products.
• Provide senior management and traders with clear views on portfolio exposures and performance.
• Develop and strengthen risk infrastructure, governance, reporting and data quality across the trading platform.
• Collaborate with Trading, Finance, Operations, Compliance and Technology to establish a scalable front-to-back risk framework.
