Job summary

Kerry Consulting’s client, an established energy company with a global portfolio, is seeking a senior legal professional based in Singapore to support cross-border project development and asset transactions.

Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will advise on structuring, due diligence, negotiations, regulatory matters and draft project agreements across investments, operations, JV's and divestments worldwide.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 7–15 years of relevant legal experience.
• Extensive upstream energy project experience including acquisitions and divestments.
• Experience in cross-border transactions and joint ventures.
• Ability to advise on regulatory and government matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across the life cycle of project development including investments and operations, acquisitions and divestments.
• Advise on transaction structuring, due diligence and negotiations.
• Draft and negotiate project agreements.
• Advise on regulatory and government matters; manage external counsel when required.
