Job summary

NEA is seeking a regulatory compliance professional to join the Carbon Mitigation Division. You will liaise with industrial facilities to ensure regulatory conformity, review and develop energy efficiency requirements, and conduct on-site inspections as part of a mixed desk and field role.

The role emphasizes energy performance analysis, stakeholder engagement, and developing guidelines for the industrial sector to reduce GHG emissions.

Qualifications

• A degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred; candidates from Environmental, Electrical and Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering will also be considered.
• Highly self-motivated, independent, and resourceful.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the energy efficiency field or in an industrial plant.
• As part of the shortlisting process, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.

Responsibilities

• Leading field audits and conducting compliance checks to ensure facilities meet regulatory requirements.
• Analyzing energy performance of industrial facilities and engaging companies to improve energy management.
• Reviewing, developing, and implementing requirements, standards and guidelines related to energy efficiency and carbon mitigation for the industrial sector.
• Designing, commissioning, and managing studies to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and GHG reduction.
