Job summary

LPS in Singapore is seeking an Information Security Officer to uphold the security posture of desktop endpoints, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards. The role collaborates with departments to provide comprehensive support across security operations.

Key duties include patching and hardening Windows and macOS environments, handling security incidents, and evaluating risk while implementing security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on desktop support experience (Windows and macOS).
• Experience with endpoint security, incident response, and related tooling.
• Certifications such as Microsoft, CISSP, CISM or equivalent preferred.
• Experience implementing IT security policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patching, hardening, and remediation for End user computing environments.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and service requests related to end-user computing.
• Analyse advisories, perform risk assessments, and implement recommendations.
• Provide consultation and implementation of security controls and policy compliance.
• Conduct briefings on cybersecurity hygiene for new hires and staff.
• Evaluate security tools and processes, support security applications, and handle whitelisting requests.
• Assess risk statements and recommend security strategies, ensuring SOP compliance.
