Job summary

OPUS IT Services Pte Ltd is urgently hiring a contract security operations professional in Singapore. The role covers vulnerability management, incident response support, DDoS and WAF operations, and coordinating security and infrastructure activities.

The candidate should have 2–5 years in IT security, familiarity with Tenable and Azure security, and be able to drive remediation with internal teams. Working hours are 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, on a contract through March 2027.

Qualifications

• Masters, Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vulnerability management activities across infrastructure, servers, endpoints, applications and Azure cloud environments.
• Utilize vulnerability management platforms to identify and monitor vulnerabilities.
• Review vulnerability assessment and patch reports to identify remediation priorities.
• Coordinate remediation activities with infrastructure, application and support teams.
• Monitor patching progress and ensure vulnerabilities are addressed within defined timelines.
• Track outstanding vulnerabilities and remediation exceptions.
• Analyze vulnerability data to identify recurring issues and trends.
• Escalate overdue or high-risk vulnerabilities to stakeholders.
• Support security audits and provide vulnerability management evidence.
• Ensure remediation aligns with IM8 requirements and cybersecurity standards.
• Support cybersecurity incident response activities and investigations.
• Coordinate incident communications between technical and business stakeholders.
• Assist with containment, recovery and closure of cybersecurity incidents.
• Maintain incident records and logs.
• Monitor incident trends and propose improvements to security operations.
• Support DDoS and WAF operations and policy reviews.
• Coordinate security and infrastructure operational activities across teams.
