Job summary

PCCW Solutions Insys PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Information Security Officer to maintain the security posture of IT endpoints, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

You will patch and harden desktop environments, analyze phishing incidents, review advisories, and support cross-department security controls. A diploma in IT and 3+ years of experience are required; professional certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on desktop support experience (Windows/macOS).
• Experience with endpoint security and incident response.
• Professional security certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Microsoft).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patching, hardening, and remediation for End user computing environments.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and service requests related to end-user computing, including email phishing and analysis.
• Analyse advisories from ITSS CERT and product manufacturers, conduct risk assessments, and implement recommendations.
• Provide consultation and implementation of security controls, including cross-border travel evaluations and policy checks.
• Conduct briefings to reinforce cybersecurity hygiene and policy updates for new hires and staff.
• Evaluate and implement security tools and processes, support security applications, and handle whitelisting requests.
• Assess compliance with SOPs and guidelines and conduct vulnerability checks for risk mitigation.
