Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced IT Security Officer to support day-to-day cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, incident response, and compliance monitoring across on-premises and cloud environments in Singapore.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams, as well as vendors, to identify risks, coordinate remediation, and ensure compliance with IM8, NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, cybersecurity, CS, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT security operations.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Tenable).
• Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment, patch management, security monitoring, and incident response.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure security and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (IM8, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
• Exposure to DDoS protection and Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies.
• Experience supporting security governance, audits, and compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vulnerability assessments and remediation activities across on-premises, cloud, and Azure environments.
• Support cybersecurity incident investigations, response coordination, containment, and recovery.
• Assist with DDoS protection and WAF operations, policy updates, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate cybersecurity activities across multiple teams and external suppliers.
• Prepare security reports, dashboards, and compliance documentation.
