Job summary

Zenova Steel Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, site execution and overall project management for controlled demolition works in Singapore.

The role involves wire saw cutting, wall saw cutting, core drilling, and other specialised demolition activities. Ideal for candidates with site experience aiming to develop into a Project Manager within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction/demolition projects or related foundations works.
• Knowledge of wire saw cutting, wall saw cutting, core drilling, or controlled demolition is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schedules.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of project costing and cost control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing controlled demolition projects from planning to completion.
• Coordinate daily site operations including cutting and demolition activities.
• Coordinate manpower, machinery, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Liaise with main contractors, consultants, engineers and clients to ensure smooth execution.
• Review drawings, work sequences, method statements, and project schedules.
• Monitor site progress, productivity, quality and safety compliance.
• Assist with project budgeting, cost monitoring, progress claims and variations.
• Identify site issues and coordinate timely solutions to minimise delays.
• Prepare project reports, work schedules and documentation.
• Support the Project Manager to deliver projects safely, on schedule and within budget.
