Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Associate for the Currencies Emerging Markets Trading team on the front office trading floor in Singapore.

You will oversee risk, liquidity and exposure while driving pre-trade analysis, trade execution and risk-optimized strategies for large FX trades. You will engage in cross-asset evaluation, track market developments and respond to client requests with innovative, data-driven solutions for fixed income and FX desks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field.
Proficiency in at least one programming language Python/KDB/Java/C++.
At least 3 years of relevant FX/EM FX trading-floor experience.
Understanding risk types and how to manage them with optimal strategies.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibility for managing our electronic FX/NDFs/STIRT franchise including price delivery, risk management and data analytics.
Responding to day to day client requests and needs.
Understanding market drivers and cross-asset implications; track market moves and client impact.
Perform data analysis of the business and revenue drivers.
Understand drivers of relevant markets and establish competence with clients around executing trades.
Understand firm's risk management policies and applicable regulations.
