Job summary

COSEM SAFETY & SECURITY SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a dedicated Fire Safety Technician to maintain and service firefighting equipment in accordance with the maintenance program.

You will conduct periodic tests, assist in yearly fire pump tests, and participate in emergency response with the ERT as needed. Requirements include at least 2 years firefighting experience with SCDF or equivalent, preferably with WSQ Tier 1 CERT and CERT First Aider.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years firefighting experience with SCDF or equivalent.
• Preferably with WSQ in Tier 1 CERT & CERT First Aider.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, check and conduct routine servicing of all firefighting equipment and facilities according to the work schedule and maintenance program.
• Conduct periodic tests and checks of fire protection facilities and system.
• Assist in the yearly performance test on the fire pumps.
• Ensure all works are conducted and completed in line with the maintenance schedule.
• Conduct fire training and emergency courses organized.
• Respond to emergencies as part of the ERT when activated, including fighting and rescue.
• Perform fire inspection rounds and routine maintenance on firefighting equipment in emergencies.
• Occasionally participate in fire exercises with the Authority.
• Perform operations and administrative duties required by the Authority.
