Job summary

Cosem Safety & Security Services Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated firefighting professional to perform routine servicing and testing of firefighting equipment and facilities in line with the maintenance program. You will respond to emergencies as part of the ERT, conduct fire training, inspections, and participate in drills with the Authority.

The role requires at least 2 years of firefighting experience with SCDF or equivalent, and preferred WSQ Tier 1 CERT & CERT First Aider qualifications.

Qualifications

At least 2 years firefighting experience with SCDF or equivalent.
Preferably WSQ Tier 1 CERT & CERT First Aider.

Responsibilities

Maintain, check and conduct routine servicing of all firefighting equipment and facilities per schedule.
Conduct periodic tests and checks of fire protection facilities and systems.
Assist in the yearly performance test on fire pumps.
Ensure all works are conducted and completed per maintenance schedule.
Conduct fire training and emergency courses organized.
Respond to emergencies as part of the ERT (Emergency Response Team).
Perform fire inspection rounds and routine maintenance of firefighting equipment.
Involve in fire exercises with the Authority as required.
Carry out operations and administrative duties required by the Authority.

Job Responsibilities:

To maintain, check and conduct routine servicing of all fighting equipment and facilities accordingly to the work schedule and maintenance program.
To conduct periodic tests and checks of fire protection facilities and system.
To assist in the conduct of the yearly performance test on the fire pumps.
To ensure that all works are conducted and completed in accordance with the specified schedule of maintenance.
To conduct fire training and any emergency courses organised.
To respond to any emergency as a member of the ERT (Emergency Response Team) when activated, including fighting, rescue and any other emergency related activities.
To perform fire inspection rounds, routine maintenance on all firefighting equipment and fighting in the event of fire emergency.
To occasionally be involved in any fire exercise with the Authority.
To perform all operations and administrative duties required by the Authority.
