Job summary

Eastern General Hospital (EGH) is seeking a dynamic and proactive professional to join the Emergency Department in supporting planning and operational excellence to ensure optimal patient care and experience.

You will work with clinicians and stakeholders to map patient journeys, assist with resource planning and staff development, and drive cross-functional initiatives to improve service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Healthcare and staff management experience will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of design thinking, change management, project management, technology adoption and process methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders in a fluid environment.
• Team player, highly motivated and action-oriented with excellent planning, analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and operational excellence of the Emergency Department to ensure optimal patient care and experience.
• Collaborate with clinicians and stakeholders to map patient journeys and workflows, gathering inputs to optimise resources and manpower.
• Provide secretariat support for meetings and events; coordinate cross-functional initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Support development of work instructions and resource/manpower planning; contribute to staff development and training.
• Contribute to the hospital's Operational Readiness, Activation and Transition (ORAT) efforts and collaborate across departments to build a seamless delivery system.
