Job summary

ST Venture Employment Agency is hiring a veterinary nurse for a clinic located in the Northeast of Singapore. The role requires assisting veterinarians with in-patient and outpatient treatments, participating in rounds, and upholding high standards of care.

Working hours include 7x12-hour shifts with day, night, weekend, and public holiday rotations. Starting salary is 3,000 SGD per month and negotiable based on experience and language abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a veterinary clinic as a vet nurse or veterinary assistant.
• Ability to triage patients and participate in daily rounds.
• Professionally liaise with pet owners and referring veterinarians.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with in-patient and outpatient treatments, monitoring, and procedures.
• Participate in daily rounds to ensure proper handover of cases between shifts.
• Follow SOPs prepared by nursing managers to uphold standard of care for patients.
• Triage patients presenting at the clinic.
• Liaise with owners in a professional manner, in person and over the phone.
• Liaise with referring veterinarians and clinic staff in a professional manner.
• Care and hygiene of in-patients.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and surroundings.

Minimum experience in a vet clinic as a vet/vet nurse is 2 years.
