Job summary

Advanced VetCare Veterinary Centre in Singapore East is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician/Nurse to join our modern clinic. You will support veterinarians, care for patients, and contribute to a compassionate pet care experience.

The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in Veterinary Nursing and 1–2 years of experience. Weekend and public holiday flexibility is preferred, and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent education and training.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician or Nurse.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate clients and collaborate with the veterinary team.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with patient care by preparing examination rooms, restraining animals safely, and providing nursing support to ensure smooth clinical operations
• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures including taking blood samples, administering medications accurately, and monitoring anaesthetised patients to support effective treatment
• Educate clients on animal care, nutrition, and preventative health to promote pet wellbeing and owner compliance
• Maintain accurate medical records and manage inventory control to ensure clinic efficiency and compliance
• Ensure clinic cleanliness and organisation by sterilising equipment and preparing surgical suites to maintain a safe environment
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships to enhance client satisfaction and trust

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent education and training
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician or Nurse
