Job summary

sggovterp seeks a Development Engineer/Specialist to advance Physical and Embodied AI, bridging software with hardware in robotics and automation using ROS2. You will prototype AI-enabled systems, integrate CV models, and pilot unmanned platforms.

Lead end-to-end projects, support experimentation, document results, and translate prototypes into scalable solutions while mentoring student projects and showcasing innovations.

Qualifications

• Degree in a robotics/CS/EE/mechatronics field or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with ROS2 and robotic systems.
• Proficiency in Python and C++, with software best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and deploy AI-enabled physical systems and robotics.
• Integrate AI models with sensors, actuators, and edge devices.
• Lead feasibility studies and pilot programs for unmanned platforms.
• Support end-to-end projects from data prep to post-deployment support.
• Mentor students and present demos for industry and academia.
