Job summary

Control Risks Group (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Regional Intelligence Analyst to join the Global Security team. The role focuses on monitoring the APAC region, producing intelligence reports, and supporting crisis management with analytics-driven inputs for decision-makers.

The analyst will work with regional directors and headquarters to identify threats, forecast risk, and deliver timely intelligence briefings to protect staff, assets and reputation.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 3 years of experience in threat intelligence or risk analysis.
• Knowledge of APAC regional risks and political/regulatory factors.
• Strong English written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide intelligence support to Regional Security Directors and HQ leadership.
• Monitor events and identify threats for APAC region with actionable insights.
• Aggregate data and produce status reports for stakeholders.
• Conduct strategic, tactical and quantitative analysis for investigations and operations.
• Forecast geopolitical and security issues and inform business planning.
• Collaborate with teams to develop analytics-driven solutions and risk insights.
• Leverage risk monitoring platforms and engage country analysts as needed.
• Develop and disseminate intelligence alerts and analyses for staff and operations.
• Produce concise short- and long-term analytical products (1–3 pages).
• Support threat analysis tools development and crisis management coordination.
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements.

Job description

The Regional Intelligence Analyst will work in the Global Security department of a major international consumer healthcare company. They will be part of a dedicated team of analysts, who will provide tactical and strategic intelligence monitoring on the APAC region, to ensure that relevant stakeholders can bring critical decision-making and crisis management skills to bear in order to minimize the impact to people, assets, information and reputation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide intelligence-related support to Regional Security Directors and respond to Global Security Headquarters leadership in the U.S.
• Monitor global, regional and local events to identify threats, remove false positives and present potential threats in a meaningful and comprehensive way
• Aggregate data and produce reports to represent status and results
• Conduct strategic, tactical and quantitative analysis in support of security investigations and operations
• Conduct incisive analysis and forecasting on geopolitical and security issues, monitor country threat ratings and draw from extensive database of incidents and couple those with visualization and analytics tools to help the Client make informed business decisions and plan operations in confidence
• Partner and effectively communicate with team members and other departments to produce insights, develop analytics-driven solutions, and support intelligence gathering and risk analysis
• Leverage the full range of services provided by Control Risks' risk monitoring platform and access relevant country analysts (and other Subject Matter Experts) when required
• Develop and issue intelligence communications regarding alerts that have the potential to impact staff or operations
• Develop and disseminate periodic short- and long-term analytical intelligence products ranging from 1 to 3 pages in length
• Assist in the building and deployment of tools and processes in support of threat analysis
• Provide contextual support to disaster and crisis management coordination
• Identify and improve inefficiencies and remediate process gaps

Requirements

• Graduate degree preferred.
• Three years of relevant experience in threat intelligence, risk analysis or related field.
• Knowledge and understanding of key security, political, regulatory, operational, integrity and social risk issues across the APAC region.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities and tight deadlines while interacting with colleagues and clients in sometimes challenging situations.
• Ability to find, evaluate and succinctly summarize and critically assess large volumes of information, filtering out non-relevant details.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational skills.
