Job summary

Beyondsoft International (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and maintain low-level software for ARM-based microcontrollers and processors.

You will bridge hardware and software, handling board bring-up, driver development, and system validation through production support. The role requires hands-on C/C++ development, device-driver work, and collaboration with hardware, mechanical, and QA teams across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EE/CE or related field.
• 2 years hands-on embedded firmware experience.
• Strong C and C++ with ARM MCUs.
• Experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or ThreadX.
• Proficient in hardware debugging tools and SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain low-level embedded code for ARM MCUs.
• Develop device drivers for peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, GPIO).
• Board bring-up, hardware validation and HW-SW integration.
• Perform firmware debugging with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Design unit, integration, and system tests; participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems teams.
• Support production releases and resolve issues.
