Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group in Singapore is seeking a Guest Experience Supervisor to welcome guests and deliver genuine hospitality across Front Desk, Club InterContinental and Concierge. You will handle check-in/out, upsell experiences, and share local recommendations to enrich stays.

You will work with Uniformed Services and other hotel teams to ensure seamless guest journeys, maintain room status, and resolve feedback while mentoring associates and ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong eye for detail and delivery of service excellence across all operational facets of the guest experience.
• Excellent communication skills to handle guest concerns and compliments.
• Problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities and ensure great memories.
• Fluency in the local language; additional languages a plus.
• Tech-savvy with reading, writing, basic maths and computers.
• Advanced Front Office Opera PMS knowledge and upselling skills.
• Appreciation for F&B and ability to uphold service standards with appropriate training.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A tertiary or diploma qualification is preferred; university degree is a bonus.
• At least two years in a front desk or guest service supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience.
• Carry out multiple roles within the hotel such as Front Desk, Club InterContinental and Concierge.
• Process efficient check-in/out and handle guest bookings, upselling opportunities.
• Provide information on hotel services and local attractions.
• Assist in delivering Club InterContinental dining experiences and coordinate with culinary team.
• Record guest preferences and ensure proactive service across the journey.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure seamless guest experiences across the hotel.
• Maintain inventory, equipment and operating supplies and monitor costs.
• Lead and mentor associates and provide shift briefings.
