Job summary

STEIGEN ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Elevator Technician to perform routine maintenance, inspection, repair and installation of lifts at various sites in Singapore. The role requires hands-on technical work and a proactive safety mindset.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, complete testing after service, and keep accurate service records. Willingness to work on-call and travel between sites is essential, and a motorcycle licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in lift/elevator maintenance preferred.
• Willingness to work beyond normal hours when rostered.
• Must have valid motorcycle licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and preventive maintenance of lifts/elevators.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Attend lift breakdowns and perform rectification works.
• Install, replace and upgrade lift components and equipment.
• Test and check after repair or installation to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain service and repair records and comply with safety procedures.
• Attend to other technical duties and site works as assigned.
• Participate in after-hours callback/standby roster and emergency calls.
