Job summary

KANRY SEARCH SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an equipment and process support specialist to assist with installation, calibration, and maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

You will troubleshoot electrical and control system issues and perform RCA to minimize downtime, while aligning with fab standards and safety practices. You will collaborate with process engineers to monitor wafer processing steps, support new tool qualifications, and contribute to yield improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to work with Process Engineers on wafer processing steps.
• Proven capability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation including SOPs and maintenance logs.
• Adhere to cleanroom, EHS, 5S, and TPM standards.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, setup, calibration, and maintenance of semiconductor equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Equipment & System Support

  • Support installation, setup, calibration, and maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot electronic, electrical, and control system issues to minimize downtime
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and implement corrective actions
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities in line with fab standards

• 2. Manufacturing & Process Support

  • Work closely with Process Engineers to support wafer processing steps (e.g. lithography, etch, diffusion, deposition, CMP, testing)
  • Monitor equipment performance, alarms, and system parameters to ensure stable production
  • Assist in yield improvement, defect reduction, and process optimization initiatives
  • Support new tool qualifications, process transfers, and engineering trials

• 3. Testing, Debugging & Documentation

  • Perform electrical testing, debugging, and verification of electronic circuits and systems
  • Maintain accurate documentation including schematics, SOPs, maintenance logs, and reports
  • Support engineering change management and continuous improvement documentation

• 4. Compliance, Safety & Cleanroom Practices

  • Comply with cleanroom protocols, EHS regulations, and fab safety standards
  • Support audits, safety checks, and compliance requirements
  • Adhere to 5S, TPM, and quality management practices

• 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with equipment vendors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams
  • Provide technical guidance to technicians and operators when required
  • Support shift operations, standby, or on-call duties as assigned
