Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled technician in Singapore to perform installation, wiring and mechanical servicing of engines and generators at our Jurong West facility. The role includes aligning, assembling components, load testing, and diagnosing engine issues.

Work hours are 8am to 5:10pm, Monday to Friday, with company transport provided. Basic salary up to 3200 SGD plus a variable bonus and excellent welfare are offered, reflecting career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• ITE or relevant technical certification with minimum 2 years relevant hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic Starting System, Marine Gearbox, AC Power Alternator, alignment, control panel and testing will be of advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform job assignments by selecting, using and maintaining various service tools correctly.
• Install electrical switches, sensors, transducers, transmitters, current transformers, alternator components, control panels, etc.
• Install engine wiring as per the provided drawings.
• Disassemble and assemble engine components (oil pump, water pump, cylinder head, etc.).
• Perform engine valve lash adjustment.
• Assist mechanical works (radiator assembly, couplings, engines, alternators, gearbox, piping, hoses).
• Assist alignment works for radiator assembly, engine and alternator installation.
• Prepare generators for load test.
• Perform safety devices test and load test including recording parameter readings.
• Connect ET tool onto engine to view diagnostic codes and events and file data.
• Troubleshoot engines and generators when problems arise.
• Perform general servicing on engines and alternators.
