Job summary

LOTTE ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION CO., LTD. Singapore Branch is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of engineering experience and a minimum of 3 years in commercial mixed development projects.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To attend all necessary meeting with clients or subcontractors during various stages of the project.
• Receives instructions from construction managers and distribute to subcontractor accordingly. The engineers shall take charge of day‑to‑day running and coordination of all site works, inspection and include testing and commissioning.
• To prepare detailed design and engineering of entire Electrical system.
• Carry out resources planning and control of materials, tools and equipment ordered and delivered.
• To ensure cost control, maintain project timeline and manage manpower resources for the project.
• To attend to site progress meeting and site technical issues and report to Construction Manager.
• Will be the frontline contact with Civil and SWCs’ representatives on site.
• Monitor daily site progress and update programme on the site progress report.
• Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths & weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Handle and resolve technical and engineering problems.

Job Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic) or equivalent.
• The Electrical Engineer shall have minimum of Five (5) years engineering experience after tertiary education with at least Three (3) years relevant experience in commercial mixed development projects of a similar size and complexity.
