Job summary

NES GLOBAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance for major power plant and energy projects.

You will perform inspections, maintain QA/QC documentation, and coordinate with construction, commissioning, contractors and client teams to ensure electrical works meet project specifications. Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience as an Electrical QA/QC Engineer on engineering/construction projects.
• Experience in Power Plants, Waste-to-Energy, substations or major industrial projects.
• Ability to read SLDs and electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of ITPs, Inspection Requests, NCRs, punch lists and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections for electrical installation works.
• Implement and maintain ITPs and quality documentation.
• Inspect LV/MV/HV switchgear, transformers, MCCs, motors, generators, UPS/DC systems.
• Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, specifications and method statements.
• Raise and coordinate Inspection Requests (IRs) with contractors, clients and third-party inspectors.
• Identify non-conforming works and support closure of NCRs and punch-list items.
• Witness electrical testing and inspection activities per ITPs.
• Support FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning activities.
• Verify equipment and materials against specifications and drawings.
