Job summary

UMAAS ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD.

seeks an Electrical Installation Supervisor to oversee daily electrical installation works at project sites, manage workers and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with drawings and safety standards. The role requires a NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Singapore construction or industrial projects.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant electrical installation or project supervision experience preferred.
• Experience in Singapore construction or industrial projects is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of cable containment, cable installation, glanding and termination.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, single-line diagrams and layout drawings.
• Familiarity with Singapore workplace safety requirements.
• Good leadership, coordination and communication skills.
• Able to supervise workers independently and meet project deadlines.
• Relevant safety certifications such as BCSS or equivalent are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all electrical works comply with approved drawings, specifications and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, engineers and site management.
• Monitor daily work progress and ensure project schedules are met.
• Prepare daily progress reports, manpower attendance and timesheets.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
• Arrange site inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Identify and resolve site installation issues.
• Monitor material requirements and coordinate deliveries.
• Perform other project-related duties assigned by management.
